How to deal with uncertainties and risk from a law and governance perspective

In this seminar, Tim will discuss the promise and pitfalls of current strategies to embed caution into legal frameworks, with a particular focus on spatial planning. He will also detail some future issues which the law will face in handling climatic uncertainty which, if poorly managed, pose an existential threat to principles at the heart of Western legal traditions.
