Are you looking to understand what countries' post-2020 climate targets actually mean in terms of emissions? Or what they need to be if we want to limit warming to within 2°C? Do you want to receive our latest stream of facts for the Paris negotiations? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then the below resources are for you.

INDC Factsheets

For every country that announced an INDC to the UNFCCC we have produced a factsheet with an estimate of the country's total greenhouse gas emissions, per-capita emissions, ranking in comparison to all other countries, and more. See here.

Mitigation-contributions.org

What commitments should individual G20 countries put forward for the world to have a chance of staying below 2°C? See our interactive website www.mitigation-contributions.org.

The Climate & Energy College at Lima UNFCCC conference

The COP20 (20th Conference Of the Parties) of the United Framework Convention on Climate Change was held in Peru and was a critical event on "The Road to Paris 2015" towards a final global agreement on Climate Change. Researchers from The University of Melbourne and the Climate & Energy College were there and told us their vision of what went on in Peru and why the upcoming Paris conference in December 2015 is such an important event for the safety of our planet.

This website is based on a Nature Climate Change study that compares Nationally Determined Contributions with equitable national emissions trajectories in line with the five categories of equity outlined by the IPCC.

  • liveMAGICC Climate Model

Run one of the most popular reduced-complexity climate carbon cycle models online. Used by IPCC, UNEP GAP reports and numerous scientific publications.
