Cathy Alexander has a background in Political Science. She was a journalist for 8 years, covering everything from ferret racing to federal elections. She was also an adviser to a federal politician for 6 memorable months. Cathy has just started as a research fellow at MSSI, working partly on research translation. Her interests in her new job are research translation – helping researchers who work on the environment / sustainability get their message out to decision-makers - and climate politics and policy.
