Governance for Future Generations and Climate Adaptation – Wales case studies

Wales has some new innovative legislation, The Future Generations Act which aims to focus governance and public sector planning towards meeting the needs of future generations. 

Alan has been working with Wales’ Future Generations Commissioner,  public bodies and the third sector to explore how this legislation can develop futures governance, sustainability and climate adaptation.

His professional and academic background include scenario planning, climate adaptation and foresighting within the public sector.
